Our days can easily blur together with the current speed of life we are surrounded by. Busyness, overcommitment, and exhaustion have become the norm. We are working hard to change that for our family. So, this is my attempt to be intentional, slow down, and record these moments that are so fleeting! These babies of ours just keep growing and nothing can wreck my heart like that can! I am beyond grateful for the chance to watch them grow, but saddened by the speed at which it’s happening. 

As you read, please keep in mind I am probably writing with a 3 year old on my lap, pinching my elbow (yeah it’s strange, but it’s been her comfort thing since she was itty bitty), a 5 year old working on a muddy backyard “job site” he’s created (with real lumber and tools in hand!), and a dog attempting to eat every sock that exists in this home! With all that going on around me I won’t be worried about grammar or spelling or punctuation. All I want is to get the thoughts and feelings down so maybe one day my kids can find this and know just how much I loved spending my days with them!
